Support Staff Section

The Support Staff section of ACTE strives to support our professionals on multiple levels, including:

  • Maintain active leadership in the promotion of career and technical education
  • Bring together career and technology education support staff through membership in a state and national association devoted exclusively to their interests
  • Providing professional development for support staff and the opportunity to discuss new or innovative ideas or any challenge affecting support staff on a state and national level
  • Promoting a positive working relationship with fellow support staff, instructors and administrators
  • Affiliating and cooperating with the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), through New and Related Services (NRS), to accomplish the mission of career and technical education

We encourage you to join the Support Staff section of ACTE. As our numbers grow, so will our ability to advocate for resources and opportunities to support our students. Your participation strengthens our voice and involvement with ACTE in supporting new and experienced teachers by increasing funding to use for professional development, resource development and programming at the national and local levels.
