Other Ways to Get Involved
Today’s career and technical education programs are key to ensuring your industry has the skilled workforce it needs to remain competitive today and in the future. But education administrators, teachers and guidance professionals must be aware of your industry and the career opportunities it provides students for curriculum and program alignment to occur.
Career Pavilion
To bridge the skills gap, ACTE has launched the Career Pavilion, which will be held this November 28 in San Antonio, TX during ACTE’s CareerTech VISION conference. Come and tell your story to more than 4,000 CTE leaders, many of whom are making decisions about curriculum, teaching the skills needed for the workplace and providing career guidance to the students who will be the backbone of your future workforce. Please visit the VISION website to learn more.
Created as a companion event to ACTE’s CareerTech Expo, which focuses on products and services, Career Pavilion is about ideas; it is a venue designed to spur discussion and action to address the gaps that exist between education and the workplace.
CareerTech Expo
Join us as an exhibitor at ACTE’s CareerTech VISION. Please link the word exhibitor with the following webpage http://www.careertechexpo.com/
VISION attendees are respected hard-to-reach education decision-makers: superintendents, counselors, administrators, principals, curriculum specialists, and school board members. VISION attendees are education authorities who initiate projects and programs, solicit bids, and are prepared to make purchasing decisions based on what they see at the CareerTech Expo. Your company’s connection with these hard-to-reach education decision makers and authorities begins with reserving a CareerTech Expo exhibit space.
Industry Connect Blog
This is a unique opportunity to focus on increasing educators’ interest in collaborating with business and industry.
