The Association for Career and Technical Education is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers. Read more about our history, mission and structure.
ACTE's leadership is a volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the
members of the Association in an annual election. Board officers include
the president, president-elect and past-president. Board Directors are
one representative from each of ACTE's Divisions and Regions. The executive director is an ex-officio member of the Board. Standing committees are appointed by the Board.

Data and Research Task Force
The mission of the Data and Research Task Force is to identify
priorities and provide support that will position ACTE as the leader
related to quality career and technical education data and research.
Energy Sustainability Task Force
The mission for the Energy Sustainability Task Force is to develop a
plan outlining strategies for ACTE to position career and technical
education as a leader in the energy sustainability arena.
