This award recognizes the finest career and technical education (CTE) educators at the middle/secondary school level who have demonstrated innovation in the classroom, commitment to their students and dedication to the improvement of CTE in their institutions and communities.

Misty Bible is the Counselor and Career Connections Specialist at Kiamichi Tech-Idabel.  In her capacity as Counselor, Misty meets with all students on campus for employability skills instruction.  She works with local business and industry representatives to evaluate potential candidates and with local high schools to help students discover which CTE program best fits their future needs.  In her 23 years in education, Misty has served as a School Counselor Advisory Member to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, board member of the Oklahoma School Counselor Association, and Oklahoma School Counselor of the Year.  Her motivation is helping students develop careers that lead to lifelong fulfillment.
