The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) is excited to announce its fifth cohort of Fellows for its 2023 NextLevel Postsecondary CTE Leadership Program, sponsored by ECMC Foundation and powered by ACTE. Seventeen fellows were selected for the fifth cohort. The NextLevel Fellowship provides professional and career growth opportunities to the next generation of leaders in postsecondary CTE programs through this nationally-recognized program that is engaging, individualized, and memorable.

Today, the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) announced that Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR) will become the next Democratic lead co-chair of the Congressional Career and Technical Education (CTE) Caucus at the start of the 118th Congress. Congresswoman Bonamici is taking the place of Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI), who has faithfully led the Congressional CTE Caucus for 11 years.

Maryland Students Win ACTE National Student Trophy Design Contest
Today, the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) announced the team of Carter Carr and Joshua Kadavil from Mount Hebron High School in Ellicott City, MD as the national student trophy design contest winner in its seventh annual student trophy design contest. The contest is sponsored by ACTE and Stratasys, Ltd., a manufacturer of 3D printers and production systems.

ACTE and Advance CTE Release Ninth Annual Report Examining State CTE Policies
In 2021, career and technical education (CTE) continued to adapt to challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic while delivering high-quality programming nationwide across all learner levels. CTE also remained at the forefront of state CTE policy, with 41 states enacting or passing 138 CTE-related policy actions.
