Platform statement
My name is LaDonna Selvidge, and I have been a member of ACTE for 24 years. I am seeking the position of ACTE’s Health Science Education Division vice president, as I have been inspired by past ACTE Health Science Education Division vice presidents in seeking this position. I would like the opportunity to work with ACTE leaders on the national level in advancing the mission, vision, and strategic direction of ACTE and the HSE Division. I would represent the HSE Division on the board of directors by listening to needs and nding solutions to advance CTE. Student success is the foundation on which our CTE system has been built. The value and success of our CTE programs cannot be underestimated. It is important that legislators, industry, other levels of education, families, and students see the value and importance of the great educational system that we have in this country. During my past involvement in ACTE at the state and national levels, I have worked to promote CTE and would be honored to serve as your next ACTE Health Science Education Division vice president.
