Platform statement
As ACTE Region II vice president-elect, my goal is to enhance and promote CTE. I will foster collaboration to ensure that CTE programs are innovative, effective and aligned with evolving workforce needs. I will strive to advocate for increased funding and resources for CTE programs. I recognize the importance of securing nancial support to develop state-of-the-art facilities, provide cutting-edge equipment, and offer professional development opportunities for CTE educators.

I will focus on strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and local industries to enhance opportunities for both students and educators. ACTE’s work on prioritizing the advancement of equity and access in CTE is important to our work. I believe that every student and educator, regardless of their background, should have equal opportunities to explore and succeed in CTE elds. I will work to eliminate barriers, address disparities and promote inclusivity in all CTE programs.

My overarching goal as ACTE Region II vice president-elect is to champion CTE by advocating for resources, fostering partnerships, promoting equity and embracing an ever-changing workforce. Together, we can ensure that CTE remains a vital component of our educational landscape, preparing students for successful careers and contributing to economic growth for all.
