Region V administers the following ACTE Member Awards:

- ACTE Teacher Educator of the Year
- ACTE Administrator of the Year
- ACTE Postsecondary Teacher of the Year
- ACTE New Teacher of the Year
- ACTE Counseling & Career Award
- ACTE Carl Perkins Community Service Award
- ACTE Lifetime Achievement Award

Region V Communication Awards
Communication awards must have been created and completed between January 1 and December 31 of the current award year.
See the entry form (Updated!) for all communication awards. Make copies of entry form as needed. Send three copies of each submission and one entry form attached to each of the publications. Electronic submissions of publications will be accepted for evaluation. Each entry is displayed at the Region V Conference, so please mail an original the Region V awards chair.
Region V Communication Awards Categories
- Newsletter: Submit three copies of one issue of the newsletter that is published at least three times a year. The newsletter may be printed by any method. A newsletter is an informational news-related document written specifically for an intended audience.
- Membership Recruitment: Submit three copies of one membership recruitment tool. The membership recruitment tool may be printed by any method and can be used in an envelope or as a self-mailer. The purpose is to promote membership to an intended audience.
- Conference Program: Submit three copies of one conference program that has one specific purpose. The conference program may be printed by any method. The purpose is to promote attendance at a specific meeting for an intended audience.
- Advocacy Publication: Submit three copies of one advocacy publication that promoted ACTE and the goals of the state and national association. The advocacy publication may be printed by any method.
- Website Publication: purpose is to promote Career and Technical Education utilizing technology.

This award recognizes innovative career and technical education programs from each Region V state that are unique, novel, and are serving to improve and promote the image of career and technical education.
