Rachael Mann is a keynote speaker and an authority on career and technical education and workforce development. She champions forward-thinking in artificial intelligence and the changing landscape of work. Rachael is the executive director of NCLA, host of the NCLA podcast, and a frequent keynote speaker at education and workforce development events on disruptive technology, education, and careers. She is the author of six books, including her latest title, Pack Your Bags for an AI-Driven Future. She has developed university courses on artificial intelligence in education for college faculty and K12 educators as well as three AI micro-credentials for NJIT. Read full bio.

Lauren Kaufman
Friday Keynote Speaker
Lauren Kaufman is currently serving as a district leader for a school district in Long Island, New York. With two decades of experience in education, she has served as an assistant principal, elementary instructional coach, elementary and middle school reading specialist, new teacher mentor coordinator K–12, creativity camp enrichment program supervisor, and second- and fifth-grade classroom teacher. Oregon ACTE Excellence Awards
Oregon ACTE administers the ACTE Excellence Awards. State award winners in these categories are eligible to move forward for Region V consideration. Nominations are now open and close December 12.
ACTE Excellence Awards Timeline
Once again, Oregon ACTE will be facilitating statewide awards to recognize excellence from throughout the state. Additionally, winners may move forward to both the regional and national level. The awards are:
- Teacher of the Year
- New Teacher of the Year
- Counseling and Career Development Professional of the Year
- Postsecondary Professional of the Year
- Administrator of the Year
We will open Oregon’s nominations on October 1, and close nominations December 12. View Announcement
