NEDA-ACTE National Executive Directors Association
NEDA MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the National Executive Directors’ Association for State Career and Technical Education Associations (NEDA) is to strengthen the capabilities and effectiveness of state executive directors, or presidents of state career and technical associations that do not have an executive director/secretary, in the performance of association management.
PURPOSE
- To affirm and support the purposes of the Association for Career and Technical Education.
- To promote communication among state career and technical education association executive directors/secretaries and between NEDA and the ACTE Board of Directors.
- To provide a forum for the study and discussion of questions affecting the management of state career and technical education associations.
- To promote professional growth among persons holding executive director/secretary positions in state career and technical education associations of ACTE.
MEMBERSHIP
Eligibility: Persons hired and serving as state association executive directors/secretaries, either full or part-time, and the presidents of the state career and technical education associations that do not have an executive director/secretary may become members of NEDA.
NEDA dues for the fiscal year (July 1-June 30) are $130 per person, beginning July 1, 2023. (e.g. some states have an ED and assistant ED who both join NEDA)
