Platform statement
In my role as vice president of ACTE’s Engineering & Technology Education Division, I will continue to elevate the essential workplace skills of analytical and creative thinking. Our division, with its rapidly changing tools and processes, is leading the charge to ensure that students have these skills. And I am excited to bring my partnerships to the table and leverage the interest that our industry partners have in ensuring that students are prepared for the workforce. An essential part of this equation is ensuring that the teachers have the best possible training and support, and that is truly what inspires me as an educational leader: bringing teachers together with industry.
