ACTE Excellence Awards
The MI ACTE Executive Board is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 MI ACTE Excellence Awards nomination process. These awards are established to celebrate and recognize the outstanding dedication, innovative practices, and significant accomplishments of Career and Technical Education (CTE) professionals throughout the state of Michigan.
MI ACTE invites all stakeholders to assist in identifying and nominating deserving individuals for these prestigious honors. Recipients of the 2026 MI ACTE Excellence Awards will be formally recognized at the 2026 Michigan Career Education Conference and will advance to the National ACTE 2026 ACTE Excellence Awards Region I competition.
Nominations are now being accepted for the following award categories:
- ACTE Teacher of the Year
- ACTE Administrator of the Year
- ACTE Postsecondary Professional of the Year
- ACTE Counseling and Career Development Professional Award
- ACTE New Teacher of the Year
- ACTE Teacher Educator of the Year
- ACTE Carl Perkins Community Service Award
- ACTE Lifetime Achievement Award
- MI ACTE Outstanding Business/Education Partnership
- MI ACTE Advisory Committee Member of the Year

All nominations must be submitted via the official Google Forms linked above. Nominations will open on August 1, 2025 , and must be submitted no later than November 1, 2025 . Late submissions or submissions via other formats will not be considered.
The MI ACTE Awards Committee will review all nominations using the official ACTE Excellence Awards Rubric: Excellence Awards Scoring Rubric (PDF)
Michigan is proud to have a strong, collaborative network of outstanding CTE professionals. MI ACTE encourages you to honor your colleagues and spotlight exemplary programs by submitting a nomination.
