When and where is the Postsecondary Summit?

The ACTE Postsecondary Summit will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.

When is conference registration open?

Registration hours:

  • Wednesday, September 16: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 17: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Registration will be on the Independence Level in the Independence Foyer at the Hyatt.

Which airport should I fly into?

The closest airport is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), located less than one mile from the Hyatt. Most attendees can reach the hotel in about five minutes by shuttle, rideshare, or taxi.

Does the hotel offer an airport shuttle?

Yes! The Hyatt offers a complimentary shuttle between the hotel and Reagan National Airport (DCA).

  • Runs approximately every 20 minutes
  • Operates daily from 4:20 a.m. until 12:40 a.m.
  • Terminal 1: Hotel Shuttle area outside the main doors
  • Terminal 2: Outside baggage claim at Doors 4 and 7
I'm flying into Dulles (IAD) or BWI. What are my options?

If you arrive at Washington Dulles (IAD) or Baltimore/Washington International (BWI), you can:

  • Take a rideshare or taxi to the hotel.
  • Use public transportation (Metro and/or rail connections) to Reagan National Airport or Crystal City, then continue to the hotel. Travel time is longer than from DCA, so plan accordingly.

I've never ridden the Washington Metro before. How does it work?

The Washington Metro is an easy and affordable way to explore the Washington, D.C. area.

  • Purchase a SmarTrip® card at any Metro station or use the SmarTrip app on your phone.
  • Tap your card or phone when entering and exiting the station.
  • Fares vary depending on the time of day and distance traveled.
  • Trains are identified by color and destination, so be sure to check signs before boarding.
Which Metro station is closest to the hotel?

The Crystal City Metro Station (Blue and Yellow Lines) is approximately a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

How do I get into Washington, D.C.?

From Crystal City Station, board either:

  • Blue Line
  • Yellow Line

Most major attractions—including the National Mall, Smithsonian museums, Capitol Hill, and many monuments—are only a few Metro stops away.
