Keynote Speaker

Katie George is a dynamic leader with 19 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, and workforce innovation. As Chief of Staff at Transfr, she plays a pivotal role in shaping national strategies that connect education, technology, and career exploration to create equitable pathways to success.

Rooted in Career and Technical Education (CTE), Katie has consistently advocated for greater investment in building a connected CTE ecosystem—one that breaks down silos between education, industry, and workforce stakeholders. She believes true impact comes from collaboration, and she works tirelessly to create scalable programs that align classroom learning with real-world career opportunities.

Katie is known for building high-impact partnerships across industry, education, and government sectors, helping communities thrive by developing seamless pathways from training to employment. She regularly advises national and state boards on workforce readiness strategies, and she champions economic mobility through mentorship, talent development, and technology integration.

Her efforts were recently recognized by Women We Admire, which named her one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Texas.

Katie also brings her passion for community into her personal life. She serves in a leadership role with her local Bourbon Society, proving that even her hobbies are rooted in connection and purpose.
