TIVA serves as the professional organization for Career and Technical Educators holding certifications in Trade & Industrial Education. This organization actively engages in endeavors that facilitate the professional development of its educators. Teachers are kept informed of pertinent activities through consistent email updates, newsletters, and postings on www.tiva.org.
Our Summer Professional Development emphasizes workshops, specialized training, mentoring, and networking opportunities as its primary objectives. This week-long conference features organized activities predominantly focused on advanced certifications and TEA-accredited programs. A key factor in the success of the conference training is the broad participation of industry leaders and instructors in the training sessions and workshops.
The two-million-dollar professional liability policy provides coverage for our educators, enabling them to focus on instructing their students with the assurance of protection in their laboratories should unforeseen incidents occur. Furthermore, their attorney privileges guarantee access to legal representation when necessary.
