Mission

To provide educational leadership in developing a competitive workforce. ACTE strives to empower educators to deliver high quality CTE programs that ensure all students are positioned for career success.

 

OBJECTIVES

  1. To promote professional growth and leadership among members
  2. To improve the profession through professional development, collaboration, idea exchange forum [monthly meet-ups] etc.
  3. To become an active participant with other educational agencies.
  4. To help KBOA members with the tools to relay to students their potential by joining the career fields associated with our curriculum.
  5. Be a part of the legislative talks relating to our profession.

Membership & Benefits

Our members also belong to The Business Education Division of ACTE®, which is a diverse, broadbased group dedicated to educating today’s students for tomorrow’s business community.

Membership in KBOA & ACTE provides a strong collective voice for professionals representing all facets of career and technical education. We support you and your CTE programming, initiatives and innovations by providing a rich array of professional development resources, events and networking opportunities.

WHO: Any Kansas educator who works with curriculum in the following areas: Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology-Computer Science Studies, and more.

WHEN: One formal meeting held at annual K-ACTE Career Tech Summit. One informal meeting held at CTE February Conference.
