Kansas Association for
About Us
K-ACTE fosters excellence in career and technical education by providing leadership opportunities, award programs, and recognition.
Although professional association membership is expected in the field of education, we do not take your membership for granted. We work hard to provide the information, service and advocacy you would expect from a nonprofit association dedicated to your interests.
K-ACTE is unified with a national association, the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE, formerly AVA), and with state affiliate associations that serve specific types of career and technical education. When you join K-ACTE and ACTE, you also join affiliates and divisions specific to your field of instruction!
ACTE boasts more than 36,000 members, making us a strong advocate for career and technical education throughout the nation.
K-ACTE organizes advocacy efforts, including trips to visit public officials in Topeka and Washington, D.C.
K-ACTE and ACTE work together to support our common interests on the state and national level. Working together, we do make a difference in funding and policy that affect you and your programs.
