Welcome to the ACTEN Website!
Daniel Phillips, 2019-2020 President
The Board and Division Representatives at the Association for Career and Technical Education of Nebraska are extremely thankful that you have joined our professional organization. ACTEN was established in 1946 and we still live the original mission, to support and lead high quality CTE programs across the state. ACTEN is an affiliate of the Association of Career & Technical Education and we advocate at the local, state and national level on issues important to career & technical education. Now is an amazing time to be part of career and technical education in Nebraska, as CTE teachers across the state work to grow their programs, partner with businesses and postsecondary institutions, and prepare students to be career and college ready.
ACTEN needs your help to make our organization even better for you, and better for the students of Nebraska. Our Fall board meeting will take place in Grand Island in October, and we welcome anyone that would like to attend to join us, and help ACTEN continue to provide leadership to CTE in Nebraska.
We thank you for being a member and hope that you will encourage others to join our association. Our role here is to support the CTE efforts across the nation, so please let us know how we can help you grow your program and help drive Nebraska Career & Technical Education.
