ACTE state associations are nonprofit organizations that embrace all those interested in career and technical education who foster the purposes of ACTE. ACTE and its affiliated state associations share a primary obligation of serving the lifelong professional needs of their collective memberships by delivering or providing access to products and services of the highest quality and communicating directly with their respective members. This partnership between ACTE and its affiliated state associations is crucial to providing the maximum level of service and benefits to the individualACTE member and to the CTE field at large.
ACTE and its affiliated state associations recognize that the most efficient and effective avenue for providing professional development for members is through the state association and its divisions. ACTE?s state associations and affiliates form the backbone of local CTE organizing and advocacy. Together, ACTE and its state associations establish and communicate advocacy principals that enhance the value of the profession, serve its stakeholders and inform the education system; protect, develop and enhance the reputation, value and pre-eminence of career and technical education; and collaborate and support each other on membership recruitment and retention efforts.
