The Workforce Development through CTE Summit 3.0 is going virtual!!
Join us virtually on November 18-19, 2020 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Eastern Time! This year’s theme is Tools for Powerful Partnerships. We have lined up a dynamic speaker for you all and that speaker will describe the strategies that their organization has designed for powerful partnerships and next, Ford NGL will help you develop your very own action plan for your powerful partnerships. The purpose of the Summit is to focus on what the Coalition can do to support the businesses and industries that are represented by the participating organizations, to share updates on the initiatives formulated last year and set goals for the coming year. Last year’s initiatives included those of awareness raising, creating tools and resources, and creating a WFD-CTE Technical Assistance Center to support educators. We anticipate attendees will participate in the scheduled program time of 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on both November 18 and November 19. Registration is $100 per person.
WFD-CTE Summit 3.0 is a continuation of the last two years’ Workforce Development Through CTE Summit held in November 2018 in San Antonio, Texas and December 2019 in Anaheim, California. Both events were hosted by the Association for Career & Technical Education (ACTE), Ford Next Generation Learning (Ford NGL) with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. WFD-CTE Summit 2.0 focused on providing tools, resources, and best practices for associations and businesses to create partnerships for working collaboratively with education.
