This award recognizes school counselors and career development professionals who have demonstrated commitment to connecting students with opportunities for success, shown innovation in career exploration and development, and have advocated for career and technical education (CTE) as a viable option for all students.

Hill has worked as a school counselor in urban, suburban, and rural settings over the past 19 years. In addition, Hill serves as an adjunct professor in the school counseling program at Indiana Wesleyan University, helping to prepare future school counselors.

Hill has always prioritized servant leadership, having served on the Governing Board for the Indiana School Counselor Association for 12 years in roles including President, Conference Chair and eight years as the Government Relations Chair.
