ACTE Announces 2015 Board Election Results

 ACTE ANNOUNCES 2015 BOARD ELECTION RESULTS

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Association for Career and Technical Education announced today the election results for new members of the organization’s Board of Directors, who will take office on July 1, 2015, and July 1, 2016. The new Board members were elected by members of the Association during its annual election from November 21 – December 21, 2014.

The results of the election include the following:

  • President Elect-Lorri Carlile from Stillwater, Oklahoma. She is a FACS instructor at Morrison Public Schools.
  • Administration Division Vice President-Janet Goble from Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the Director of Career and Technical Education at Canyons School District
  • Region III Vice President-Elect-Cindy Stover from Lincoln, Illinois. She is a Consultant with CKO Consulting, LLC serving Illinois ACTE.

Also joining the above individuals on the Board in July 2015 are the following:

Doug Meyer, President; Dodie Bemis, Region V; Janet Bell, Guidance and Career Development Division Vice President; John Noel, Postsecondary, Adult and Career Education Division Vice President; Nancy Trivette, Agriculture Education Division Vice President; and Cindy McConnell, Health Science Education Division Vice President. As Region V vice president, Bemis will represent Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Philippines, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
