NYSACTE represents eight different divisions of Career and Technical Education (CTE) in New York State. These devisions are comprised of Administrators of Career and Technical Education, Agricultural, Business, Family and Consumer Science, Health Occupations, Technology Education, Trade and Tech, and Work-Experience Coordinators. Members of NYSACTE understands that together, as Career and Technical Educators, (CTE) they offer cutting edge, rigorous and relevant career and technical education that prepares individuals for high-wage, high-scale, high-demand careers in established and emerging industries. Passionate educators who share a great pride in their profession understand that by working together they are able to address the needs of industries and assists in closing the skills gap as we rebuild the infrastructure of the United States.<\/p>\n<h4>Benefits to belonging to NYSACTE<\/h4>\n<p>NYSACTE is the advocate for Career and Technical Education, an integral part of the total education system in New York.<\/p>\n<p><strong>N<\/strong>etworking Opportunities with other CTE professionals and their leadership organizations such as the Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE), that represents CTE at the federal level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Y<\/strong>our CTE professional organization has a voice through NYSACTE representation at the ACTE National Policy Seminar in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S<\/strong>upports all CTE disciplines in NYS with the implementation of Multiple Pathways for Graduation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>dvocacy. NYSACTE is represented at the NYS Board of Regents by NYSACTE\u2019s CTE Advocate, Peter Carr.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C<\/strong>areer and Technical Assistant Center of NY, as it works to increase the capacity of NYSED to Serve, Support, and Expand CTE across the state, provides NYSACTE comprehensive guidance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T<\/strong>ime to repair the infrastructure of our country. CTE improves the return on our investment in education at the local, state and federal levels\u2014 developing a more highly educated workforce with better skills, technical expertise and great ideas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E<\/strong>very Student Succeeds ACT.
