In this capacity the organization will serve as a unifying agency for personnel in all types of Career and Technical Education. Further NCACTE will assume and maintain active state leadership in initiating, expanding, improving, and promoting Career and Technical Education. Within the structure of NCACTE are different divisions of Career and Technical Education designed to embrace all those interested in Career and Technical Education in the state of North Carolina. I currently teach Agricultural Education at Ledford High School in Davidson County Schools and have been a proud CTE educator since 2002. I am also a product of CTE and Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), which played a significant role in shaping both my career path and passion for education.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout my career, I have remained deeply engaged in advancing Career and Technical Education across North Carolina. I have had the privilege of serving in several leadership roles, including President Elect (2021\u20132022), President (2022\u20132023), and Past President (2023\u20132024) of the Agricultural Education Division. I also served on the NC FFA Board of Directors from 2021 to 2024, including as Chair. My service on the NCACTE Executive Board as Vice President and as a committee member has further deepened my commitment to our mission. In 2025, I was honored to be named a NCCAT Burroughs Wellcome Fund CTE Teacher of the Year Finalist. I currently serve as a Facilitator for the NCDPI CTE New Teacher Institute, supporting the next generation of CTE professionals.<\/p>\n<p>As we look ahead to the 2025\u20132026 school year, our\u00a0primary goal is to empower our members by enhancing the value of your membership, strengthening professional connections, and expanding access to meaningful professional development opportunities. If you are not yet a member of NCACTE, I warmly invite you to join us and take advantage of the exciting programming we have planned.<\/p>\n<p>Your engagement is essential. With your participation, we can continue to provide outstanding resources, leadership, and advocacy for CTE educators\u2014and ultimately, for the nearly one million students in North Carolina who benefit from our programs.<\/p>\n<p>Please do not hesitate to reach out to NCACTE and let us know how we can best support you.
