Teachers need a voice, and I want to be one of those voices! We get so busy doing the jobs we do—impacting the lives of our students and communities—that our role as teachers is taken for granted. Teachers need to get involved and share their successes and challenges so that those in leadership can better understand the needs of teachers and, thus, better serve them. I have experience in and out of education that has prepared me to be a voice for my peers in teaching. I am a strong believer in the value of CTE for students, teachers and our communities. I will be a vocal representative for the Marketing Division. I am not afraid to say what needs to be said to shake up the status quo in order to help our division and its members.
