Host City for Best Practices 2017: Albuquerque

Albuquerque is an active city and Best Practice attendees will be able to take part of it all. Many cycling opportunities for road biking and mountain biking. Bicycle rental of any level bicycle is available. Fantastic paths are available along the Rio Grande River about a mile from Hotel Albuquerque for running or cycling. Many vacation opportunities exist if you wish to extend their stay, such as local pueblos, Santa Fe, and the Hyatt Tamaya is stunning. Albuquerque also has a wide assortment of dining experiences. The population is around 720,000 and the elevation is around 5200 feet, which makes some areas in the heights over a mile high. Film is big in New Mexico, and Central New Mexico college has a Film training program. Many recent movies and television programs have been filmed in/around our area of New Mexico including Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Longmire, etc. Driving around town, it is common to see yellow signs with black lettering tied to stop signs, which is a marker and directions to a film shoot you might want to explore.

Our hotel is located within walking distance to Albuquerque Old Town (.02 miles) and the St Clair Winery & Bistro and the Albuquerque Museum (.2miles) Old Town has culture, shopping, and dining.
