West Virginia ACTE Day at the Legislature

When: Thursday, March 06, 2014 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Where: State Capitol, Charleston

The West Virginia Association for Career and Technical Education will again be sponsoring the Day at the Legislature on Thursday, March 6, 2014. This day is set aside each year for career and technical education centers to showcase their programs to the West Virginia Legislature.

Set-up time is 9:00 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m. on the second floor of the State Capitol near the rotunda and also near the House side.

We ask that career and technical education centers planning to attend to bring your student hand-made items or your nursing students showcasing their skills to our legislators.  This will allow our programs to be visible and useful.  There are a limited number of outlets so plan accordingly.  There will be tables and chairs for your use.

If you plan to bring your students and items, please e-mail Ernie Powers to get an accurate count of participants.

We look forward to your representation at this annual event!
