complete some college but not a two- or four-year degree. Researchers
Michael Greenstone and Adam Looney find that these individuals' lifetime
earnings are about $100,000 more than the earnings of those who
finished their education with a high school diploma.

Associate degree holders earn an annual rate of return of four percent
on their college investment, in comparison to workers with a high school
diploma as their highest credential, according to new research from
the Nexus Research and Policy Center and the American Institutes for
Research. This return on investment (ROI) can be even higher given
certain institutional characteristics and educational choices, including
majoring in health and other CTE fields.

Young adults are delaying their launch into careers and taking longer to achieve median earnings, according to a new report
from the Georgetown Center on Education and the Workforce. The
publication proposes helping younger people ramp up into careers through
work-based learning, flexible work arrangements and transparency about
how education connects to careers.
