Platform Statement: I would like to get more members involved from the states that are currently involved in Region I and also grow new membership in the states that are not currently involved. With our current members, I would like to get them more involved in committees and leadership roles. Many career and technical education professionals are involved in their state organizations, but they need to know and see the value in also being involved in a regional organization. There are so many things to learn outside of your state and from others within the region. My main goals are to grow the region, grow the membership within underrepresented states and to get members more involved in Region I activities, committees and leadership roles.
