Cara Shousterman is the Director of Technology of Technology Training Initiatives at LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City, NY. She has led numerous CTE initiatives which aim to improve outcomes for individuals who face significant barriers to employment in the tech sector, including the TechHire program at Laguardia Community College and CUNY TechWorks at Queensborough Community College. Her areas of expertise include data analytics, software development, and IT/Networking. Her previous experience includes launching a media tech accelerator at a nonprofit called Harmony Labs. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from New York University.
