Virtual to In-person Marketing (and Everything In Between)
In 2016, CA BOCES CTE made a leap of faith and created a CTE Outreach Coordinator position to establish a comprehensive marketing plan. After years of attempting to use overused staff to run tours, create marketing literature, handle social media, CA BOCES CTE administrators decided to pick up all of the little pieces and bring them together. With the goal of giving every student in the service area the opportunity to attend CTE, a comprehensive marketing plan was established. After gathering data from focus groups, target audiences were established and marketing strategies were created to change misperceptions and break down barriers to CTE.
In this presentation, CTE administrators will learn and understand the benefits of an outreach position, as marketing goals, strategies and results will be demonstrated. A successful five-year marketing plan, including using mediums such as virtual, social, and in-person will be shared and discussed.

Ensuring High-quality and Rigorous Curriculum for CTE Programs in Atlas
Effective and meaningful instruction requires an intentional roadmap. We welcome you to join this high-level overview of Atlas and how it can help classroom teachers, program coordinators, and school administrators provide a guaranteed and viable curriculum for CTE students. Whether your district already has Atlas and you would like a better understanding of the system’s power, or you are considering adopting software for managing your curriculum process, we invite you to attend this session and bring to it your questions!
