Postsecondary Advisory Group (PSAG-2.0)

Mission

Provide guidance and recommendations to ACTE to strengthen the Association’s efforts to provide, support, partner or sponsor high-quality professional development experiences and opportunities that can be delivered in-person or online/digitally to its members and the postsecondary career and technical education community.

Vision

The vision for the PSAG-2 is to advise the Association in strategies, topics and referrals that elevate the perception of ACTE as a valued and respected vehicle for postsecondary professionals to network, grow professionally and advocate for their programs.

The Advisory Group will pursue this vision by:

  1. Being introduced to current ACTE postsecondary CTE resources and services and provide suggestions as to enhancing their value and increasing awareness of them.
  2. Discussing and exploring what services and supports for postsecondary CTE professionals are needed
  3. Advising ACTE on strategies to more effectively advocate for postsecondary CTE programs.
