The Marketing Education Division of ACTE® encompasses a diverse group of professionals dedicated to educating students in marketing. To better and serve members in this Division, there are eight areas of interest Marketing Education Division members can choose to join:

Some key concepts and skills included in the teaching of marketing education are listed below:
- Marketing, management and entrepreneurship, communications, economics and finance.
- Hospitality and tourism encompass the management, marketing and operations of restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events and travel-related services.
- Planning, managing and performing marketing activities to reach organizational objectives.
- Business management and administration careers encompass planning, organizing, directing and evaluating business functions essential to efficient and productive business operations. Business management and administration career opportunities are available in every sector in the economy.
- Planning services for financial and investment planning, banking, insurance and business financial management.
- Designing, producing, exhibiting, performing, writing and publishing multimedia content, including visual and performing arts and design, journalism, and entertainment services.

- DECA prepares leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges across the globe. - Marketing Education Association (MEA)
- The national Marketing Education Association is an organization of educators and business people committed to the career development of youth and adults in the areas of marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. Over 15,000 teachers in United States secondary schools and community colleges are involved in marketing education serving nearly half a million students each year. They are supported by local and state education agency supervisors and administrators, university-level teacher educators and thousands of business people who recognize the need for well-prepared marketing personnel.
