Fiscal Year 2014 CTE Support Fund Donations

CTE Support Fund Announces Donation Totals for 1st Half of Fiscal Year 2015

The beginning of 2015 marks the halfway point of ACTE's fiscal year. To showcase the leadership and commitment that ACTE's Regions demonstrated during this period of donations, we've calculated the percent of total contributions to the CTE Support Fund from each Region so far. We appreciate the contributions of ACTE members and supporters from the CTE community from all of our Regions. Want to help your Region earn bragging rights? Click here to donate.

 CTE Support Fund Map 2015

Region I: 23.4 percent of total contributions, second place
Region II: 8.2 percent of total contributions, fifth place
Region III: 14.6 percent of total contributions, fourth place
Region IV: 31.3 percent of total contributions, first place
Region V: 22.5 percent of total contributions, third place

We are thrilled to announce that during this period, we have raised more than $5,300. These contributions enabled ACTE to go above and beyond for our members and build public support for CTE. Because of the CTE Support Fund, we were able to conduct in-depth research and publish our findings on a variety of CTE topics, including our Sector Sheet on CTE's role in preparing a qualified workforce for careers in Agricultural, Food, and Natural Sciences, Biosciences, and Information Technology. We organized an exclusive press briefing for national education reporters to help them understand the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act, which will improve their coverage and subsequent public awareness about this crucial issue. We worked with members of the Senate CTE Caucus to collaborate on legislative priorities that are important to our members, and we worked with those partners to build even greater support for CTE on Capitol Hill. These activities wouldn't be possible without your support - and we appreciate your investment in your community and the future of CTE.
