Administrator of the Year
Glen Bailey has been an exceptional administrator and advocate for CTE. Glen has worked closely with CTE Skills Testing and Professional Development in the Alpine District to help teachers improve instructional practices by using the testing data to modify content delivery. He has provided funding for CTE Teachers to participate in professional development with industry partners in a program called “Learning with the Experts.” He is a strong supporter of CTSO’s and provides leadership on their advisory boards. Glen is the liaison with the Mountainland Technology College and the Area Health Educational Centers, to provides students with educational activities and opportunities to earn industry credentials and certifications. He has helped to provide funds for “state of the art” laboratories in the secondary schools complete with the latest technology. Glen continues to work tirelessly to ensure that all CTE programs have functional and knowledgeable advisory committees. Glen’s tireless backing of CTE is much appreciated by both teachers and students alike.
