The Success in Education Foundation (SIE) believes in the lifelong, transformative power of engaging education through dedicated efforts to enhance and enrich scholastic experiences through creative programs to influence change. The foundation attempts to empower people to change their lives by supporting academic and CTE content. SIE has worked with other business to offer a nine-week summer Code to Success program in the Granite and Alpine schools districts (now expanding to others) through which over 100 secondary students developed real-world coding skills. Students were able to take these courses and acquire web development skills through a free program to help students prepare for future careers. These summer programs have resulted in increased enrollment in the computer science programs in both school districts. SIE also encourages changes in students’ behavior through its “Keys to Success” program.
