2016 UACTE Lifetime Achievement Award

    Pam has been teaching her junior high students how to cook, sew, and care for small children as well as preparing them for future careers for 26 years as a FACS teacher and she’s loved every year of teaching! Professionally she’s also been involved in the UACTE professional organization for many years. She has served as secretary, president (two terms) and member at large for the FACS division. She has also served on the UACTE board as Historian, Conference Committee member, President, and she is currently on the Public Relations committee. Nationally Pam has served at the National Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (NATFACS) as chair of Public Relations and Programs of Work and Showcase. She has also served on the ACTE Diversity Action Committee and as a delegate for Utah. She is a frequent presenter at the UACTE Annual Conference and at the USOE Summer Conference.
