2011 Quality Association Standards Award Winner 

The Career and Technology Association of Texas (CTAT) promotes quality instructional partnerships with business and industry to successfully prepare every student for the challenges of post-secondary education, a globally competitive workplace and active citizenship.

CTAT offers professional development conferences, student newsletters, an outstanding peer network of CTE professionals, is unified with ACTE and works closely with the Texas Career and Technology Council on legislation and policy affecting career and technical education. CTAT offers $2 million in optional liability insurance for $28 per year.

CTAT recognizes outstanding student achievement through its annual cash scholarship program, awarding ten $1,000 scholarships per year. CTAT recognizes CTE administrators, counselors, community and industry partners whose contributions and service enhance and improve CTE programs in Texas.
