The IBM ACE e-business program is now available for the first time in the United States at Gateway Technical College, a leader in technical achievement, occupational advancement, and personal success. The IBM Advanced Career Education (ACE) program is a complete and structured e-business certificate training program aimed at enhancing application development knowledge and skills, furthering careers and meeting the evolving e-business demands of organizations.
This unique technical training program allows professionals and graduates interested in e-business application development to build and raise their skills to a new plateau. The program offers more than 700 hours of both theoretical and practical experience through a combination of classroom education, laboratory exercises and team projects to stimulate real-world business application experience. The IBM course material is continuously updated by IBM, ensuring that the curriculum contains reference to only the latest technological advances.
Upon completion of this program, participants should be well equipped with the skills to meet the challenges of present and next generation e-business application development environments. Participants will learn how to create and deploy server-side applications using J2EE technology, will gain experience with database management, and will learn about the essential processes and best practices involved in software development.
All students who successfully complete this program will be awarded an internationally recognized certificate from IBM with a specialization in "e-business Application Development". Additionally, the IBM ACE e-business Program helps students prepare for related product certifications including IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer, IBM DB2 UDB, and SUN Java, as well as specific job-role certifications from organizations like jCert and Prosoft. Students can also complete additional coursework through the program to receive an Associate Degree from Gateway Technical College.
