ACTE developed the Promising Programs and Practices Web page to highlight career and technical education programs in community colleges, high schools, and career centers across the country that are providing outstanding education, superior technical skills and innovative opportunities to their students. Instead of trying to find a one-size-fits-all approach, this Web page is designed to show how a variety of schools and institutions have found creative solutions to their problems and to spark ideas that can be adapted to other settings.

The information on the Promising Programs and Practices Web page can be searched by State, to help find programs that are under the same educational regulations; or by topic, including ACTE division. New programs will be added continuously, so please send ACTE any ideas for programs and schools that you feel deserve to be highlighted on the page. Please include as much information you can about the program including contact information for the program administrator and the school.
