Senator March Begich of Alaska introduced a new career counseling bill that would provide critical funding to allow school counselors to emphasize not just four-year college opportunities, but also target career prospects like apprenticeships, certificate programs, associate degrees and other vocational or degree programs. ACTE has worked closely with Senator Begich's office on the development of this bill and we will continue to follow its progress in Congress. For more information, visit the CTE Policy Watch blog.

Congratulations to the national 2015 ACTE Award winner from Region V!
