ACTE Announces Candidates for President-elect, Region and Division Vice Presidents

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) has announced its slate of candidates for President-elect, Regional and Division Vice Presidents for the elections to be held in 2006.

Candidates for President-elect are Coleen Keffeler of Sturgis, South Dakota and Daniel Smith of Chaska, Minnesota.

Nominated for Region and Division Vice Presidents are:

Region II Vice President-elect: Sheila Carlton of Alamo, Texas, Aaron Fleming of Raleigh, North Carolina and Jodi Geiger of Deltona, Florida.

Region V Vice President: Kevin English of Peoria, Arizona and Mike Roeber of Norfolk, Nebraska and Pete Rising of Culbertson, Montana.

Administration Division Vice President: Mimi Lufkin of Christiana, Pennsylvania, Gregory Pierce of Ada, Oklahoma and Martha Thompson of Lewisville, Texas.

Adult Workforce Development Division Vice President: Sandra Bush of Atlanta, Georgia and James Comer of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Agricultural Education Division Vice President: William Deimler of Lehi, Utah and Bob Heuvel of Wilton, California.

Guidance Division Vice President: Pepper Poulsen of Sandy, Utah and Judy Whitaker of Sandy, Utah.

Health Science Technology Education Division Vice President: Ruth Ann Eckenstein of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Beverly Ransdell of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Special Needs Division Vice President: Kristine Hammond of Orem, Utah and Virginia Turner of Fairburn, Georgia.

ACTE Members will be able to cast their vote on the ACTE Web site at www.acteonline.org, beginning February 1st through the 28th. Please contact Roberta Travis at 800-826-9972 if you are unable to cast your vote electronically.
