ALEXANDRIA, VA- The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) has partnered with Who?s Who Among American High School Students in order to provide ACTE?s student members with an additional opportunity to be recognized nationally for their hard work and achievement.

ACTE advisors will be asked to nominate qualified students for honorary recognition in the next edition of Who?s Who Among American High School Students, the largest student recognition program in the nation. Those selected to appear in the Who?s Who book will automatically be eligible to compete for over $200,000 in college scholarships. In addition to the traditional scholarships provided by Who?s Who, there are two $1,000 scholarships set aside specifically for ACTE student members.

To qualify for the ACTE scholarships, students must be nominated by an advisor who is an ACTE dues paying member and actively involved in the Association. The student must have a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 or greater. To nominate a student, the advisor must complete the nomination package and return it to Who?s Who. Selected students will then receive nomination forms from Who?s Who, accompanied by a letter from ACTE. Students must return their biographical information to Who?s Who by May 30th in order to be listed in Who?s Who Among American High School Students.
