Pennsylvania Association for Career and Technical Education

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Association for Career and Technical Education’s website. PA-ACTE’s purpose is to provide service, leadership opportunities and recognition to its members and to support career and technical education as an integral part of the education system.

Region I

Region I is composed of 16 state affiliates, including Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, the Federal Department of Education, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia. The mission of the Region is to support the efforts of the ACTE state associations in providing educational leadership in the development of a competitive workforce. Activities of the Region are focused on involving members, cultivating organizational leadership, advocating for workforce development, emphasizing professional development and promoting a collaborative network of communication.
