Career Academies

Is your CTE program in a career academy setting? Are you interested in the career academy model? Is your school looking at starting a career academy? If you answered yes to any of the above, then ACTE can help you with a host of resources dedicated to career academies.

The New and Related Services Division facilitates cooperative working relations between career academies and other organizations; address international, national, regional, state, territorial and local needs and problems, as well as long-range goals; and provide effective mechanisms of communication among CTE professionals who are involved or are looking to be involved with career academies.

Meet Sherry Adrian

CTE is facing unprecedented cuts in funding at the very time when we can least afford it. As a consequence of the recent economic downturn, more and more people are looking for a way to increase their potential for employment. CTE is a desirable solution because our training meets a wide range of needs. We offer dynamic programs designed to prepare high school students for entry into college or the workforce, to further develop the capabilities of recent college graduates and to enhance the skill set of seasoned professionals.
