ACTE Business-Education Partnership Sponsors Fall Image Awareness Campaign

This fall marks the launch of a multi-region CTE image awareness campaign sponsored by ACTE's Business-Education Partnership. The campaign includes a full-page advertisement in seven regional editions of USA TODAY. In conjunction with the ad, a kit of basic career information materials is being distributed to high schools throughout the regions included in the advertising area.

The campaign's theme is summed up in the ad headline: Career and Technical Education: your door to a future of unlimited possibilities. The advertisement lists a variety of hot in-demand career areas in various trades, the logos of the Business-Education Partners who specifically pledged to support the campaign, and a Web site address that leads to a career area on the ACTE Web site and links to all the Business-Education partners. The Web site address is: www.getcareerskills.com.

Business-Education Partners pledging their support to the campaign to date include: Automotive Youth Educational Systems, Clark Theders Insurance Group, Francis Tuttle Vocational-Technical Center, Great Oaks Institute of Technology, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, National Occupational Competency Testing Institute, Toyota Motor Sales, and V-TECS. Also pledging are South Carolina ACTE and several individual members. ACTE expresses its gratitude to all the sponsors and partners for their generous support.
