Putting Data To Work: An Online Seminar On Data-Driven Decision-Making
The term "data-driven decision making" is mentioned frequently by education policymakers. What does it mean for the classroom teacher though? How can CTE educators integrate data-driven decision-making into their classroom in order to increase the success of their students? This online seminar will explore how NOCTI and ACTE's new book, PUTTING YOUR DATA TO WORK: IMPROVING INSTRUCTIONS IN CTE can help educators use data-driven and disaggregated objective technical skill data to continually improve classroom instruction. Valuable for secondary, postsecondary, and adult educators, this online seminar is a must-watch and must-listen for any CTE educator.

Are seminars live or pre-recorded? Both. Seminars will be held live, allowing you to participate with your colleagues and ask questions in real time, but archived webinars are also available for replay.
Who can access online seminars? Many live and recorded Seminars are restricted to ACTE members only. In certain instances, such as when a topic is particularly important to the field, seminars will be open to non-members to participate live and, for up to two weeks afterward, to view the recorded event. All recorded seminars older than two weeks are restricted to members only. If you like what you see here and wish to have access to all ACTE online seminars, consider joining ACTE. Individual membership starts at $80/year and includes many other benefits.
