Integrating CTE and academic subjects has become an increasingly important priority for educators, and literacy—from the classics
through computers—is near the top of the list. One of the best resources available to ACTE members is the Issue Brief "CTE's Role in Adolescent Literacy."

CTE and Sustainability
ACTE believes that environmental sustainability is not only best
practice, but a deep reflection of the values of the CTE community, the
guarantee of a safe future for the planet and a key component of its
economic future. Therefore, ACTE hopes to lead the CTE community on
issues of sustainability and provide the resources and guidance our
