Educational Institution Membership Policies and Benefits
 

ACTE Bylaws

Educational Institution Membership is available to any school district, technical and career center, curriculum center, community college or university. Dues for this category are set by the Board of Directors.  

Educational Institution members are considered eligible for voting and serving as committee members or members of the Assembly of Delegates.

Board Policy

Membership in ACTE is available as directed in the Bylaws to Educational Institutions.  These Institutions are defined as any school district, technical and career center, curriculum center, community college or university.  (3/06)

  1. Three levels of membership dues are available: Level I - $2,500; Level II - $5,000, Level III - $10,000.
  2. All Institutional members shall annually receive public recognition in Association communications/publications and at the Annual Convention.
  3. Seating at the Annual Convention general sessions will be reserved based on the following formula: Level I – 4; Level II – 8; Level III – 15.
  4. Included in the membership dues are individual member listings for the CEO of the Institution, the CFO of the Institution and in addition Board members based on the level of membership: Level I – 2 Board members; Level II – 4 Board members; Level III – 8 Board members. Individuals included in this listing receive all rights and privileges, with the exception of voting, of the Individual membership category, although they are not counted in the totals for the Individual membership category.
  5. Special information sessions and communications may be offered to Educational Institution members as appropriate.
  6. Discounts on design, printing, distribution and web services offered by ACTE shall be extended to all Educational Institution members. Other discounts may be extended by staff on appropriate products and services.
  7. Complimentary meeting space at the ACTE headquarters will be extended to Educational Institutions at Levels II and III.
