Forum Guidelines
For the Public Forums, feel free to take a look around and reply to topics started by registered users, but you must be logged in to start a new topic on the forums.
To keep spam at bay, the Public Forums are moderated by staff and select ACTE members. Anything you write on the Public Forums must be approved before appearing on the site. We strive to approve your contributions to the Public Forums as quickly as possible so dialogue can continue. Read all the ACTE forum guidelines and instructions for how to use the forums.

Add the Forums to Your Favorites
You can add the ACTE forums to your myACTE personal page by clicking “Add to Favorites” next to the green plus sign at the upper right of the main Public Forums page. You will now see the forums in your list of favorites when you click on “myACTE.”
Subscribe to Receive Updates to the Forums via Email
If you are logged in, you can subscribe to receive updates via e-mail by going to the Public Forums and clicking the envelope icon above "Control Panel" (not the "Email" icon above the "Add Me" bar). You will be taken to a new page. Leave the notification type as "All Posts" and click "Add Subscription." To subscribe only to a particular forum that interests you, click on the name of that forum and follow the same procedure.
Subscribe to Receive Updates to the Forums via RSS
Anyone, whether logged in or not, can subscribe to receive updates via RSS by going to the Public Forums and clicking the orange RSS icon at the upper right of the page. With certain Web browsers, you will be taken to a page where you can choose a subscription service such as Live Bookmarks, Google/Google Reader, MyYahoo or Bloglines. With other Web browsers, you will be taken to a page of computer code. In this case, you must manually copy and paste the URL of this page into a subscription service such as those listed above. To subscribe only to a particular forum that interests you, click on the name of that forum and follow the same procedure.
